I submitted Henry Oscar Withers a year ago. He is buried in St Mary’s, Bolsterstone close to where I live. Was pleased to receive an email today saying his name has been added to the Roll of Honour. Two of his brothers also  died during the Great War.

Can I ask if you supplied a copy of the burial register at the same time. If yes, it will mean that his grave will be verified by CWGC in due course without undue delay.

Not at the time, I am going to ask at the church if I can see a copy of the burial records when I go up this week. I’m an EOHO volunteer there. There was a detailed report of his funeral in the local press at the time. Hopefully I wil be able to supply the records soon
