Remembered Today:

Secret German Training Base

Has anybody heard of the Lipetsk fighter pilot school? I'm really interested in it. I think I understand a very basic story but I have some questions that I hope somebody could help me with.

From what I understand; after the war with the Treaty of Versailles, the German's had to promise (for want of a better word) not to continue developing their technology for air superiority. So they reached out to the USSR and asked if they could train with them on their land.

What happened at the end of the war for the German's to be in such a position? Was it so they wouldn't be able to be as 'strong' as the other militaries?

What happened to the luftstreitkrafte when the Great War ended? Did they want to continue developing in the air superiority?

Was is the luftstreitkrafte that went over to the USSR and asked if they could make a deal with them? Why did the USSR agree?

How did the German's find this 'loophole' in the Treaty so that they could train with the USSR? Were they worried about getting found?

What did Europe think of the USSR at this time? Did they know they were training pilots?

Where did they get their planes from? What sort of training was it? The usual?

Any interesting stories from anyone who was there?

Thank you for helping me - I can't wait to tell my friends more about this!

Well I can only give you some peripheral reasons why this may have occurred. Firstly, it was the Kaiser and his advisors (many Socialists or

actual Bolshevik agents like Gelfand) who installed Lenin in Petrograd at the end of the war. He was helped along by Lloyd George, his intelligence

service and President Wilson who made every excuse in the book to get Trotsky shipped from Commie heaven in the Lower East Side of Manhattan

to Petrograd.  There, after getting rid of the Tsar ( I mean ALL mentioned above) and then the Kerensky Provisional Government, the Bolsheviks signed

the Brest-Litovsk Treaty. The Bolsheviks scratched the Kaiser's back and the Kaiser scratched their back. The Bolsheviks, with the help of Lloyd George and

Wilson could turn their attention to defeating their enemies in the civil war while the Germans could turn their attention west.  HOWEVER as we all know, Europe

was going from Pink to full blown RED.  Both the Tsar and Kaiser were soon gone. Temporary and permanent Red Republics popped up as a result of the establishment

of the Comintern in 1919. The RED TERROR spread. There were Kaiser left-overs from the Lenin days and they desired to make deals with the REDS. The SPD claimed

to be a Socialist party, but like Labour in the UK, they were infested with full blown Communists. They worked with the German Communist

Party (KPD). Both had attempted to facilitate several RED invasions of Germany from 1918 to 1923 as recounted in detail by their Eastern European paymaster Walter Krivitsky (Samuel

Ginsberg).  So my GUESS is that, since this occurred around the time of the Treaty of Rapallo, this was an agreement struck between German Socialists/Communists and the USSR.

What mainstream academia NEVER stresses ON PURPOSE is that the rise of the DAP/NSDAP was NOT entirely because of Versailles and economic conditions but MAINLY to do with the

REAL threat that Communists in Weimar Germany posed to Germany proper. Not many are aware that the Weimar Reichstag was full of Socialists, Communists and more importantly

agents of  the Soviet Comintern.  I imagine the Soviets agreed to this initially in order to maintain good relations with Germany as their economy was in worse shape than the one in

Germany. The Entente Communists like Lloyd George and Wilson were also selling their souls trying to make economic deals with the USSR. This as they continued in their efforts to

undermine the west and their colonies  while refusing to pay back their wartime debt. A debt mainstream academia will tell you was incurred by the Tsar. However a massive pile of

debt was incurred BECAUSE the Bolsheviks signed the Treaty of Breast Litovsk.  Not only debt resulted but thousands of Allied casualties that may not have occurred if Russia had

stayed in the war. After going through hundreds of MI5/SIS/Scotland Yard/FBI files I can tell you with all certainty, I doubt the West even cared that the USSR was training German

pilots. Its possible they were hoping they were training German Communist pilots

Well General I would have to disagree for whatever that is worth. When do think WWI ended? The Treaty of Versailles and Rapallo are treaties

relating DIRECTLY to WWI. One could also argue that the historical timeline is nonsense because the Russian Revolution,

for example, began before WWI, continued clean through, and did not end until the 1920s. The Entente

intervention in Russia was a part of WWI.

All this is inter-related and is either a continuation or directly due to WWI.

OR is it the subject matter you have a problem with?

Kellyellie98 asked, "What happened to the luftstreitkrafte when the Great War ended?"

and "What happened at the end of the war for the Germans to be in such a position?" They also asked about these topics in relation

to the Treaty of Versailles. All relating to WWI. Just because a topic streams through WWI into the 1920s does not mean it is not about

WWI.

This is what I have personally been fighting against. If anyone thinks they can understand WWI without knowing what preceded it and

what followed you are sadly mistaken. All are indispensable clues to the war itself and how it geo-politically

and militarily transpired. If you do not know what happened between the 1800s and 1914 or 1919 and 1939 you have no clue what happened between 1914-1918.

This is especially true with my specialty in intelligence.
