Looks like it could be a Russian Sikorsky Ilya Muromets heavy bomber, but I’d appreciate hearing what the real aviation experts think.

That was certainly my first thought too, and this photograph of a full-scale replica of a Sikorsky S-22 Ilya Muromets in the Monino Air Force Museum would seem to confirm the identification.

I would also note that the word Sikorsky appears to be written in pencil between the third and fourth lines written in ink.

Dear Tawhiri thanks for the response and confirming the plane and you are right I have looked again at the pencil writing which definitely looks like Sikorsky
