Penny Posted 12 February Share Posted 12 February (edited) Am trying to trace my Grandfather's medals from WW1 he served in Salonika and Gallipoli as a despatch rider and at the front of his diary it says 22 Signal then 2 letters which I am not sure what they are. When I searched 22 signals it said they were formed in the middle of WW2. Can anyone help me to find out which regiment he was attached to? Terry_Reeves Posted 12 February Share Posted 12 February (edited) 22 Division Signal Company RE. They were in Macedonia with the Division, July 1916 to August 1918. There is a war diary for them in WO95 / 422 but it will require a personal visit as it has not been digitised.
