LOUK Posted 12 February Author Share Posted 12 February (edited) GWF1967, Thank you! I am surprised about this though....as I believe he was in the King's Liverpool Regiment and before that he was in the Lancashire Hussars Yeomanry. Would they have an association with the 12th Royal Lancers? I'm trying to research my great grandfather. I wonder if men ever wore the pin of someone else in memory? I know he had a brother also in the service. Lisa Edited 12 February by LOUK
GWF1967 Posted 12 February Share Posted 12 February Hi Lisa, a belated welcome to the forum. It is quite possible that he was wearing it as a memorial brooch to remember a family member or close friend.
