Remembered Today:

Research about Saint-Aubert

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking for information about the British soldiers who fought in Saint-Aubert (Nord, near Cambrai) in October and November 1918.
The British Army remained in this village until 1919.
Also, is there a site selling postcards or old photographs on the English internet (like Delcampe in France).
Thank you for your help,
Yours faithfully
Michaël Bourlet

Bienvenue au Forum.
I visit this man (and his brother buried at Villers Plouich) when I can. They grew up in my husband’s grandparents house. This is from a website about the town of Corsham. The pages were taken from a book published very soon after the war. A lot of the information is inaccurate as it is what the families told the compiler. Gunstone is definitely buried at St Aubert though!

I don’t think there’s any specific photography site, most people would use eBay.
