Michael Bourlet Posted 11 February Share Posted 11 February Hello, I'm looking for information about the British soldiers who fought in Saint-Aubert (Nord, near Cambrai) in October and November 1918. The British Army remained in this village until 1919. Also, is there a site selling postcards or old photographs on the English internet (like Delcampe in France). Thank you for your help, Yours faithfully Michaël Bourlet
Admin Michelle Young Posted 11 February Admin Share Posted 11 February Bienvenue au Forum. I visit this man (and his brother buried at Villers Plouich) when I can. They grew up in my husband’s grandparents house. This is from a website about the town of Corsham. The pages were taken from a book published very soon after the war. A lot of the information is inaccurate as it is what the families told the compiler. Gunstone is definitely buried at St Aubert though! https://www.corsham.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/William-Henry-Gunstone.pdf
Admin Michelle Young Posted 11 February Admin Share Posted 11 February I don’t think there’s any specific photography site, most people would use eBay.
