shippingsteel Posted 6 February Share Posted 6 February (edited) That is very nice.! I especially like the extremely clear markings and decals which are in such good condition. I am sure these pictures will be of interest to so many people. Thank you for posting. Cheers, SS Edited 6 February by shippingsteel
Mattr82 Posted 7 February Share Posted 7 February Thanks for sharing this with us mate. What a cracking example of something that I would say is definitely rare.
Pete_C Posted 7 February Share Posted 7 February (edited) What a fabulous example - rare in any condition but this is exceptional, especially with the inner metal liner and labels still present - a great reference piece for collectors. Could only be improved by the addition of the missing brass latch for the lid - they do turn up on ebay from time to time, usually listed with sundry other relics. Thanks for taking the trouble to share it. Pete edit : just spotted the string disappearing into the liner - is the 'missing' catch on the end of that ? LaurentFR Posted 7 February Author Share Posted 7 February Hi, Thank's for your feedback. Yes, , the string is at the end of the catch and is missing. Cheers Laurent
