Hi, seen this and wondered what you guys think, original WW1?  From my limited knowledge I understand the WW1 knives were longer than the WW2, does anyone know the length?  Maker is T Turner & Co. Other than that no other markings from what I know. Thanks

Have also just found out its stamped Encore just above the makers mark.

The official pattern number is 6353/1905, this is one of the many variants . It has the early type of copper shackle with a brass pin securing it…this was changed to steel later on during the war to conserve brass.

A very slippery slope…can’t stop at just one😂
