horatio2 Posted 4 February Share Posted 4 February An interesting 1914-15 Star. The Admiralty Medal Roll (ADM 171/91/209) shows he qualified for a trio marked as Flight Sub Lieutenant RNAS. However, the Roll records that his Star was never claimed from or issued by the Admiralty and that his Victory and BW Medals were issued by the Air Ministry. Clearly an error on the Roll.
