Strength Of British Army in Ireland in December 1919Army

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone could help me out with this one.

Looking to know the exact strength of the British Army in the Irish Command in Ireland in dec1919 /Jan 1920

 

Any assistance would be appreciated

Hi ProvostNCO.

According to wiki Total: c. 42,100 c. 20,000 British Army, 18,100 Police, 9,700 RIC 7,000, Black and Tans 1,400, Auxiliaries 4,000 USC.
