Lost in Tilloy Posted 1 February Share Posted 1 February Hi I checked on the 13th Battalion Royal Scots war diary entry for 22nd August 1917 in Ancestry and he is listed as wounded and missing among a list of officers who were either killed, wounded or listed as missing too [page 323 of 751]. The entry at the top of the page says "Seventh Sheet". Major Ewing's Royal Scots book also mentions him as being killed [page 459].
