Skipman Posted 31 January Author Share Posted 31 January (edited) You have made me think of night-time and day-time which is useful. These are the ones I'm looking for. Ones that are easily overlooked. Mike Edited 31 January by Skipman
Uncle George Posted 31 January Share Posted 31 January “Gone away is the morning, its teasing light, The lit of the fire, the burn of its bright, The chill of the dawning, the pass of the night, The seeing of bombers passing from sight, The stirring of gun teams standing down, last stag …” There you are: dawning; last stag. Sorry - I’m a bit bored. An extra point if you tell me the name of the soldier poet.
