Gunner 87 Posted 27 January Share Posted 27 January (edited) I saw this online today and thought it may interest our members. The photograph has been colourised which only enhances the incredibly clear image of the French infantry company advancing through a communication trench beneath the ruins of a factory in Le Linguet on the 20th January 1916. Fattyowls Posted 29 January Share Posted 29 January Thanks Gunner, that is a remarkable photograph, I'm with Wilts on this one. The only Le Linguet I can find is just to the east of Reims between the D151 and the A34 which seems plausible.... Pete.
