topgun1918 Posted 25 January Share Posted 25 January Harvey Charles Tombs, born 11 or 12 November 1899 and after attending No 7 School of Aeronautics underwent a period of training at No 1 (Observers) School of Aerial Gunnery at Eastchurch. He was subsequently posted to France on 7 November 1918 as an Observer with 'N' Flight which, I think, was based at Vert Galant. Transferred to the Unemployed List on 3 December 1919.
