Remembered Today:

Casualty records

I am trying to interpret a medical note on a casualty record for a soldier in the 13th Cheshire Regiment. He was sent to No 1 Stationary Hospital Rouen in Dec 1916 and I can't make out the detail. I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me what the initials stand for. Chris. image.jpeg.cc08fb3e179fa3ad4ec6149750535a0f.jpeg

I think, others might be able to confirm or otherwise, VDG - Venereal Disease Gonorrhoea.

If you search VDG on the Forum, lots of hits.

Regards

Russ

I think that is right Russ. Thank you so much. It was the D that I couldn't make out.

Best regards. Chris.
