Assistance interpreting service record D.F. Officer RFC #88200 3AM

Recommended Posts

I am having trouble interpreting my family member's movements and unit attachments.  He enlisted with the HLI as he was from Glasgow. It only indicates 3rd Reserve on medal index card for HLI.  He transfers to the RFC.  I believe it denotes that he was at the School of Military Aviation (Reading...I believe).  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Paul

To help the experts here is an enlargement of the relevant part of his record (courtesy FMP). Good luck with your research.

Paul, taking a punt here and moving this to the Interpreting Documents section to see if that brings it more attention...
