Fromelles Posted 12 January Share Posted 12 January If WW1, that round headed rivet on both the in- and outside of the helmet is the easiest way of telling the difference between US made and Brit made helmets. The Brit manufactured helmet uses a split rivet. If a WW2 helmet, the Brits were by then using a similar rivet as you have there. Dan Thank you! 😀 it was found in cambrai its probably from an engineer division in that battle the americans sufford 26 deaths and judgijng from the dentet metal and broken metal this is probably one of the helmets of one of the american deaths Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
