Arne Vandendriessche Posted 9 January Share Posted 9 January (edited) Hello, I found this with my metal detector about 30cm deep in the ground in a place where there was a camp with a railway line. Could this be the lid of an ammunition box? I don't think the handle is hinged, but I'm not sure because of the rust. Dimensions: approximately 35cm x 28cm. There are 2 hinges on the right side of the lid, and there is a piece of a side plate on those hinges.
