I am trying to help the grand daughter of a private Arthur Meaden who was killed during the German Spring offensive 21st March 1918. He is memorialized at Pozières military cemetery (plaque 59). From what I have been able to find out he was in a village called Pontruet however I can not conclusively confirm this, does any kind soul have the regimental war diaries for 21/03/1918 or perhaps a copy of the regimental history and would be willing to help. He was in the 5th army 24th division 72 brigade. Many thanks.
