Is this box contemporary to the 1st World War?

The company was founded in London in 1902.  They moved to 173 New Bond Street in 1917.

I couldn’t find a date range for your exact tin, just that the company address dates it to 1917 of later.

The London Area code in the address has no number after the letter which was introduced in March 1917

 

London W until early 1917

London W1 post that date 

 

that being said companies retained the early London codes well into the 1920s.

Unless a tin expert has a better timeframe I think it would be ok to put in a late war display.
