Lammy Posted 7 December , 2023 Share Posted 7 December , 2023 (edited) Can I get some feedback on this supposedly russian M15 please. Not many confirmed originals to compare to, but the badge detail is excellent compared to other, so called originals(all seem to be unissued or lacking wear). All look too khaki, if you translate the french colour Moutarde, then its mustard. This is the one I have. This is one I found a picture of online. And another. Another. Thank you. More photos tomorrow.! Edited 7 December , 2023 by Lammy
Lammy Posted 8 December , 2023 Author Share Posted 8 December , 2023 As you can see the liner is loose, the fittings are damaged.
Lammy Posted 8 December , 2023 Author Share Posted 8 December , 2023 Paint on the inside of liner. Liner added before the paint dried. A couple of names? NOBLET AND VRNUX or VRHUX
Lammy Posted 8 December , 2023 Author Share Posted 8 December , 2023 Im sure that is light blue paint under the mustard colour.
JMB1943 Posted 8 December , 2023 Share Posted 8 December , 2023 I think that I might read that name as VRAUX. Regards, JMB

Lammy Posted 8 December , 2023 Author Share Posted 8 December , 2023 Apparently there is a memorial to fallen russian troops, only 28km from vraux. They fought at the 2nd battle of the Marne.
Lammy Posted 9 December , 2023 Author Share Posted 9 December , 2023 So im guessing a Soldier called Noblet picked up this helmet in vraux?
