Inverted chevron, left arm

The attached snippet image shows a wound stripe on his left arm -- above it is a chevron -- is this a good conduct chevron?

Also, he has three inverted chevrons on his right arm, could anyone tell me what they represent?

Right arm 3 overseas service chevrons. Left arm 1 wound stripe, 1 good conduct chevron and a signallers badge.

His overseas chevrons appear to be all the same colour (blue). Had he been overseas in 1914 he would have had a red one for that year, blue for each subsequent year.
