The No.1 Mk.I Cup Discharger is a rifle grenade launcher designed for use on the Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk III  developed during WWI. (1917)

Although first introduced in World War One (1914-1918), Lee Enfield Rifle No 1 fitted with a discharger cup, was still in use in the 1950s. The discharger cup enabled soldiers to fire No 36 Grenades (Mills Bombs) and No 80 Phosphorus Grenades up to a maximum of 200 yards. These grenades utilised a seven second time fuse.
