Hi

Can someone tell me if there are any differences between a Royal Highlanders of Canada kilt and a Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) scottish kilt?  Or are they exactly the same?

Thanks

They were identical Government No 1.

Generally speaking the Canadian Scots regiments used the same tartans in those specific cases where they used the same title protocols as their British Imperial counterparts, e.g. Black Watch, Seaforth, Cameron, etc.

It was in those cases where the regimental titles were unique and without a direct counterpart that individual tartans were worn.
