I am trying to track down the pilot logbook of this gentleman, who was my grandfather. The logbook was actually sold on eBay in 2011 and I am very interested in contacting the purchaser. The seller has unfortunately lost their records of the sale. so I have been unable to obtain any further details apart from the eBay record online. Frank Bethell served as a flight instructor for the RFC before seeing operational service with 219 Squadron based at Manston, flying 40 sorties in 1918. If I can locate the logbook, I would be interested in paying for at least some scans of pages of the logbook, or buying the logbook itself.
