I have a couple of WW1 sniper scopes both in good condition.

a British ALDIS scope dated 1915

and a German OIGEE Berlin.
thinking about selling. Does anyone know the value of these.

Value depends very much on condition and how complete they are, case, mounts etc.

An eBay UK sale from two weeks ago.
Commercial mounts added post-war by John Rigby & Co, but comes with original case (and rare focus locking tool) and retains most of the original finish which adds considerably to the value.

And would you believe it, also eBay UK, sold one week ago. Also with case and mounts - I know very little about German scopes but given that it appears to be genuine and in excellent condition, I thought it would have fetched far more than it did.
