Droocoo Posted 1 November , 2023 Share Posted 1 November , 2023 Hi all, Is it possible to identify the aircraft from this fragment of propeller? I believe that the L.P. may represent the Lang Company with 504 potentially meaning AVRO 504? I have little knowledge in this field so any help would be appreciated. nils d Posted 4 November , 2023 Share Posted 4 November , 2023 'Aviation Archaeology ' by Bruce Robertson contains a table of propeller code numbers and it confirms that LP is a Lang propeller but there's nothing close to that 504 number , even if it was a four figure number with the last digit missing. 8059 doesn't match up either. Droocoo Posted 29 November , 2023 Author Share Posted 29 November , 2023 Yes sounds odd doesn’t it? Very strange to try and fabricate a propellor like that
