Cannot find 1914 Star medal roll for 2nd Leinster Regiment

Many months ago Forum pals were extremely helpful in helping me find some 1914 star medal rolls on Ancestry that were wrongly indexed or just in odd places. I am hoping that you can all help me again.

This time I am after the 1914 star medal roll for 2nd Leinster Regiment. 1st Leinsters is there, but I have looked hard for 2nd Leinsters before bothering you all.

Are you certain that the 1914 Roll that starts here is not for both the 1st and 2nd Bn?

The first man on the list, Smith, was 2nd Bn according to his VM/BWM Roll

I think that you are both right, and that the medal role is for both battalions. I was rather confused by so many men having dates of embarkation in December 1914, suggesting 1st Battalion, but now I look at more pages I see plenty for earlier months which can only be for 2nd Battalion. Many thanks to you both.

EDIT: I now find that although 1st Leinsters did go to France with 27th Division in 1914, it was on 20 December and thus too late to qualify for the 1914 Star. In other words, all of the men in the 1914 Leinster Regiment medal roll are 2nd Battalion.
