Ivor Anderson Posted 16 October , 2023 Share Posted 16 October , 2023 (edited) As he is a close descendant/next of kin it is worth a try. My grandfather applied to the Canadian medal office in the 1980s for an uncle's trio - issued blank. He will obviously need to supply evidence that he is the grandson: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/applying-for-medals Medal roll (Ancestry): Married 28 August 1916: https://www.ancestry.co.uk/discoveryui-content/view/2848848:61700 His widow Gertie did claim a pension: https://www.ancestry.co.uk/discoveryui-content/view/21301456:61588?tid=&pid=&queryId=865e7ddd4cf525ad4287172ca9f206bb&_phsrc=qzF11174&_phstart=successSource Edited 16 October , 2023 by Ivor Anderson Additional Info
