Hospital Orderly Souvenir Book - French readers required!

Hi all, hoping some French readers/speakers can help me out.

My great grandfather Albert Dawes was a Captain in the Church Army and volunteered as an orderly at the Caen Base Hospital (Hopital Anglais de Saint Jean) from November 1914 to February 1916. While at the hospital, he kept a souvenir book which both staff and patients wrote in over the years he was there. A large number of entries are in French (which I cannot read). I have attached below the entries which are in French and was wondering if anyone who reads French could translate for me (though I appreciate there are lots of entries, so any help would be great).

He also kept a photo album as well with some entries in French, which I will upload in another thread, so if anyone has time, please take a look at that as well.

Any and all help is massively appreciated!

Dan

These look interesting.

Whilst you are waiting, just an idea = You could perhaps try and transcribe as accurately as you can and then run your transcriptions through an online translation tool - you might get approximately what they really say.

I'll try and translate them.. They don't look difficult, but the script is very early 19th century which makes it interesting. The letter forms then were rather ! different.

It may take me a week or two.

good morning,

Being French, I can transcribe the documents for you.
Document n°11 is "La Marseillaise", a French anthem.
