I happened to notice this programme in the listings, in Gaelic but could be interesting.

One of the perennial criticisms of BBC Alba was that the subtitles are (mainly) in English and not in Gaelic.  That may still be the case which could be useful?

Probably in their interest to serve the non-Gaelic speaking viewers rather than the much smaller number of deaf Gaelic viewers.  I quite often recommend programmes there to friends and tell them that they are subtitled.
