Iainwinney Posted 23 September , 2023 Share Posted 23 September , 2023 (edited) I am currently transcribing the war diaries of the 84th MGC, and come across regularly the same word that I cannot identify or make sense of. It always follows a date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I should add the month is April but the same word appears during all other months) Edited 23 September , 2023 by Iainwinney
Admin RussT Posted 23 September , 2023 Admin Share Posted 23 September , 2023 inst. Abbreviated from "instant" meaning current/present. It appears after a date (i.e. a day) to indicate the current month. Russ
