Remembering on this day the dead of HMSs ABOUKIR, HOGUE, CRESSY, ships torpedoed and sunk by U-Boat 9 22 September 1914.

And sparing a thought for Midshipman Christopher (Kit) Wykeham-Musgrave, who was aboard each ship in turn as they were sunk, and survived.
