Skipman Posted 13 September , 2023 Share Posted 13 September , 2023 (edited) A soldier I'm researching 2310 Alexander MacDonald 1/14th London Scottish was a clerk in the London Branch of the Bank of Montreal. Does anyone know where that was 1911-1914. Was there more than one branch? In 1911 he was living at 7 Witherington Road, Highbury, Islington, and seems to have been lodging? with the Dando family. Soldiers Died in the Great War has his residence at Hampstead. Just trying to join a few dots on his life in London. Not sure when he went to London. Born 1885.
