Remembering today 24996 Private Frederick James Davies, 2nd Platoon, A Company, 8th Battalion King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment) who died of wounds, 8th Casualty Clearing Station. He is buried in grave No.12, Plot 111, Row J, at Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun, near Arras.
