Remembered Today:

Scarborough bombed

Just watched the naval battle on the lake at Persholm Park. Enjoyable but cannot help think the organisers  missed a trick. Rather than the WW2 theme the German naval bombardment of Scarborough could have been commemorated. It would be easy to the turn the enemy base to represent Scarborough with the British navy coming out to battle with the German ships. Also add another wing to the aircraft to turn them into bi-planes. I have made this suggestion to the town's tourism department. The original models were WW1 warships.
