Hi All,

Im searching for a quotation from Ms Chitty regarding the Tarrant Tabor, a triplane bomber that crashed on its first flight in May 1919. I’m told it might be in Giants of the Sky by Bill Gunston (Astragal Books, 1979.) Before I try to buy a copy or extract, can anyone confirm it exists, with relevant page number?

A quote by Letitia Chitty is used in the wikipedia article on the Tarrant Tabor & is cited as being from pages 61-62 of Giants of the Sky.

Hi Simon,

There are cheaper options if looking to supplement the sources of information. However, it'd appear that some borrow on others.
