Hi

Does anybody know the actual locations of all the estaminets used by the troops in Mailly- Mailett during the Great War?

Regards

Andy

Hi Chaz

Thanks for that information. I think there were several of them in the village.

Kind Regards

Hi Andy,

Don't know if this is applicable but the 12th Infantry Brigade Headquarters, 4th Division, took over from the 10th Brigade H.Q. at the Cafe Jourdain on the 17th of July 1916 at Mailly.

Kind regards,

Chris

Hi Chris

Thank you for that information. I believe that the Café Jourdain is or was the building close to the church?. Once again thank you.

Kind Regards

Andy

Hi Andy,

I have just had a look again and it appears that the Cafe Jourdain was located on the Mailly-Maillet - Beaussart Road.

All the best,

Chris
