According to his NZEF file, Willie Moore was attached to 42 Sqn, RFC, on 28 Apr 17 until July 1917. A bit of a long shot, but I’m wondering if any forumite here has come across mention of him during his time with the squadron. His NZEF file provides no details, but he may have been employed as a gunner/observer on its RE.8s?
