andrew_jackson Posted 10 August , 2023 Share Posted 10 August , 2023 I understand that the British Army on the Western Front switched from summer time to winter time at 1am on 8th October 1917. A note in a 2nd Anzac Intelligence Summary suggests that German forces switched on the night of 9th/10th October - can anyone verify this?

andrew_jackson Posted 10 August , 2023 Author Share Posted 10 August , 2023 Thanks Maureen. Unfortunately the UK data for 1917 doesn‘t match the British forces time change on the Western Front, so I can‘t rely on the German data either.
