Er cof/In proud memory of The Penmaenmawr Quarry Boys, 6/RWF and the men of the 53rd [Welsh] Division that landed at C Beach, Suvla Bay, Gallipoli 108 years ago today and went into action on the 10th August, 1915 - one of the blackest days of the war for north and mid-Wales.  You are not forgotten, nor all the Pen Boys who lie a long way from their beautiful Mountain home.
