JHideas Posted 8 August , 2023 Share Posted 8 August , 2023 Maybe use in WW2 but conceived by Louis Marquis during his stint in a World War I POW camp in 1915. Belt-Buckle Pistol - replica - 3D printed by JHideas Next one in my collection of : Firearms Curiosa Edition Belt-Buckle Pistol - replica - first prototype 3D printed by JHideas Caliber : 7.65 Browning / .32 ACP Designer : Louis Marquis Examples made for Himmler’s SS. “Weapon of last chance” One of the next unusual firearm of the WWII. This pistol has hinged cover plate that exposes two pistol barrels ready to be fired. The barrel block was designed to spring open when the release levers on the sides were depressed. Each barrel individually triggered and cocked each time the barrel block was pushed into the closed position. Authentic history piece or not, they are very perfect mechanism to take a look at. It has so perfection detail parts following on each other. Very precise work. There was too the 4shots version with .22LR. It's very hard to find it anywhere at auction or just photos.
