It’s not very big it’s about 12 inches long it’s at home so I’m guessing that 

the little number behind the metal centre bit is hard to read it’s well made

I suspect it is an Aeronautical Inspectorate Division inspector's stamp, and the number following the AID part of the stamp can be traced back to an individual named inspector.

Excuse my ignorance so was this made to show a craftsmans skill or a demo propeller ..does it look like a full size propeller of a certain plane

Given its apparent size, I would say that it is for powering a generator, or some other form of auxiliary equipment, on a larger aircraft. Its size of 12 inches matches the size of the propeller for powering a generator on a Vickers Vimy in the link below.
