Some 108 years ago, a Private fell. He is forgotten by most, just another body in the way at the time.

He is among the many that fell at Lone Pine, and among the many others that fell on Gallipoli in August from Chunuk Bair with the Wellingtons to the Light Horse at the Nek, or the British at the Farm.

Private McNamara, 'D' Company, 2nd Battalion. Killed in Action between August 7-14th 1915 at Lone Pine on Gallipoli
