Memoir of scout in the Kahe/Lolkisale/Kondoa campaign, GEA

My grandfather, Stephanus Fourie, wrote a memoir which includes extensive accounts of his service as a scout in the mounted forces in East Africa under Gen Van Deventer in 1916. He was involved in the engagements at Lake Chala, Kahe, Lolkisale and Kondoa Irangi and like hundreds of his comrades was laid low by malaria (and hunger).  It is available now through Amazon, in Kindle or paperback.
