I made a film about the Winter Truce

Hello to the forum! I am a new member here and have a small story to share, about working with the Ontario Great War society and putting together my own little comedy. 
 

 

I have been interested in History since I was a little kid, and I find the story of the winter truce in particular pretty fascinating. I also recently realized that Krampus as a myth would have existed then, as well as, of course, Santa. So I made a short film that incorporated those elements into the winter truce, inspired by shows like Black Adder.
