RAF acronym DFS?

Can anyone please enlighten me as to what this (presumably) acronym DFS indicates? It;s a new one on me. The man whose AIR79 record is this from was an aircraft rigger.

Just a thought, as a rigger , would it be Daily Flight Servicing which I believe is still used ?

Stupid me, didn’t bother to look at extract referring to medals:wacko:

Can I suggest that it is D E S, noting the E in R E C ?

D E S= destroyed ????

Hi

I think it is just a badly written and shortened version of  RECD & DESP or  Received & despatched :-

Good thinking. Obvious when you look again. Thank you. That clerk sure had a strange way of writing a capital E.
