Try to identify the officer in this painting by the ribbons and uniform

The painting is a portrait of an officer I believe from the Great War. 
It is signed Wilson and was painted in France, probably during the war. 
I wanted to try to find out who the painter is and also the officer if possible. 
Possibly based on the ribbons and uniform. I believe the uniform is WWI.
Second photo is the signature of the painter and location.
