Can anyone confirm where 52 Sqn RFC was during July to Sept 1917

I have a AIF officer attached during these dates from 68 Sqn AFC to 52 Sqn RFC in France

MATTHEWS    Royston Oliver Carr    29    Spr    1 LH Sig Troop    HQ evac to (St Georges) hosp Malta (gastro enteric - dyspepsia) 7-15 rtn to Mudros 11-15 (G) att WFF att Base Sig Depot Alexandria 1-16 to A/Sgt Wls sect RE at Mersa Matruth WFF 5-16 prom 2/Lt Equipt Officer 3rd class (Wls) C Flight 68 Sqn AFC (2 Sqn) Grantham UK 1-1-17 to Equip officer 2nd class 4-17 att Wls officer 52 Sqn RFC 7-17 F&B to AFC HQ London UK 9-17 to school Wls Telegraph 12-17 to Equip officer 1 Wing HQ London UK 2-18 MID - reason not stated & Brought to the notice of the Secretary of State for war for Valuable Services 27-3-19 
 

Just as 68 Sqn AFC was sent to France in Sept 1917 he was rtn to UK

Thanks mate,

I surpose there is no mention of Matthews in the War Dairy?
