Thank you. I think the Ploegstreet Memorial is quite a distance from Aubers Ridge.

Hi oscarquebec.

Researching the 2RB at Aubers yesterday  I came across this book, published in April, which I thought might be of interest.

In the forward, listed on Amazon, the last sentence caught my eye "If the dead here recorded were to march four abreast from Hyde Park Corner, below Hill 63, to Strand Cemetery a short distance down the road, it would take them eleven hours to pass the memorial."
